“WOW. What a night. Itip’s almost 2:00am, and I’ve come to realize how much live music is a part of my life. It’s something that brings me much joy. Switchfoot. Switchfoot. Switchfoot.”

“What can I say. Well we had quite the storm here in Ottawa. They were calling for freezing rain and a foot of snow. Well it turned into where we were snow overnight followed by some plain old snow and blowing snow. It was a messy drive downtown but we made it ! Chad’s really missin’ the skate boardin’.”

“Here are a few random highlights :”

“Drive through winter storm
Screaming at the top of my lungs all night – barely have a voice today
“Working from home” – not really if it counts listening to Switchfoot
Rescheduling a client meeting as I had a “conflict” ( meeting with Switchfoot for the interview)
Holding up Jon while he crowd surfed during Meant to Live
Hearing “Shadow Proves the Sunshine” LIVE
Introduced Switchfoot to the Rideau Canal & explained Beavertails to Chad & Drew. http://wikitravel.org/upload/en/thumb/f/fe/Food_Beavertail.JPG/240px-Food_Beavertail.JPG for those unfamiliar - it made the Bootleg (as did CHEM 6a!) - Heads up on Montreal smoked meat sandwiches and bagels - Romey take my word for it – those bagels are GOOD!

I went to the Atlanta Roxy concert, back in November, but they didn’t play chem6a, my favorite of all their songs. But to see that they played that song on my birthday is pretty awesome.

i was at the ottawa one, at the very front (in front of tim, who came up to me after the encore and shook my hand before leaving)… i bought the bootleg, so i just need the bootlegs from their other shows… i think i have pics of jon climbing, he used my shoulder to step into the crowd and out… i wouldve had a video of it but the security guard took my camera after i recorded the first 3 songs lol

I wasn’t at this show, but I remember at the Scranton, PA show last November Jon was climbing on the balcony there too. Too bad he got sick and had to cut the show in half though.

I was at the seattle, show and during shadow proves the sunshine, he jumped off stage, and part the crowd like Moses at the red sea. he just walked back through the crowd and stood on some stairs over the crowd…it was sweet.

Yeah, he jumped off the stage and went up the balcony during “Shadow Proves The Sunshine” here too.

I have 2 sweet vids of him climbing the balcony and then I have a wickid one of everyone singing The Shadow Proves The Sunshine. Just puttin that out for everyone. If anyone has other sweet vids, e-mail me with those too, cuz the more the merrier:) Other than that, JON IS A GOD and I love Switchfoot and the OT concert was INCREDIBLE!! hey, anyone that was there send me your pics please… im gathering pics from my friends that came with me too… i also have the first three songs on video: stars, gravity, & politicians before they took my vid camera… ill get pics up soon and please, if you have pics or vids, send me em (click on my name for sending info)… ive been reminscing this show all week; it was incredible, you can read my review thingy on myspace… lol, i looked up and ‘thomas’ if that was your brother, he didnt seem too interested at all that switchfoot was up there cause the guy that was by jon wasnt paying any attention to him at all.

Guys…this is ALL on youTUBE…. if you were in the front, you will probably see yourself (as i did- so cool and weird at the same time). THere’s also a video of Jon on the balcony, just go on the site and enter switchfoot ottawa. Also: guy with the camera, i remember you! Why did Tim shake your hand?
