This show rocked my face off. I’ve seen the ‘Foot play about 7-8 times now, and this was easily the best show of theirs I’ve seen.
The Jon-Tim version of “Let That Be Enough” brought back great memories of what made me connect with this band back when I first saw them on their New Way To Be Human Tour in ‘99. Hearing “Company Car” live again was also a treat for many longtime fans. And of course, their jams were just ridiculously intense as usual.
Jon simply makes the ‘Foot’s live shows amazing by getting the crowd involved and making us a key element of the show. What other lead singer just gets down from the stage and walks through the entire crowd with a rope light that the audience can hold up during his next song?
Kudos to Switchfoot for putting on an incredible show that won’t soon be forgotten. If you still have a chance to see these guys during this tour, go see them. Twenty bucks is a small price to pay for the experience you’ll have.
