Great show from Copeland and Switchfoot. You can’t expect less from Switchfoot, they are always a great show to see. I love the song he wrote about Texas overall, though it got really cheezy really quick, it was hilarious. I wish it were outside so they could’ve had the opportunity for pyro’s.
That was my first go ’round at La Zona Rosa, and I was really impressed with how the A/C kept everything cool, and yet wasn’t overbearingly cold. The sound mix was incredible, which is a hard thing to balance in a live show. I was really impressed with every aspect of this concert. Can’t wait ’til they come back.

This show was amazing - and the bootlegs were sold out by the time I got to the merch stand, so I’m really glad this site is here! Can’t wait till SF comes back to Texas!

I remember that song of Texas from last year. Really great concert. Of couse, the after show at the park was amazing.
Meeting them was an honor. God bless those guys and their inspiration on so many people. I cant wait till next year. Though that will be in Oklahoma City when I see them next. (Maybe).

‘Power pack with energy and bbbling!’

Awesome concert, the best I’ve been to in my life. The guys are just so nice and I can’t wait to see them in France!

This was my first Switchfoot show, and it means a lot to have a little of it on CD. I love this Amateur Lovers.

Somehow I doubt SwitchFoot is much for pyros, but they sure know how to do lights. Their ‘Nothing is Sound’ concert at Stubb’s Barbecue last year was my first for them, and it was AMAZING! Though I must say that the LZR concert was far superior (it could have been the fact that Stubb’s was outside while LZR was not). I highly recommend getting a place in front of where the speakers sound waves meet up, it makes for a much more pleasing experience.

Their concert at Stubb’s last year was also my first time to see Switchfoot live. It was quite cold but still enjoyable. This year’s show at LZR was different & just as great in its own way. I also got to merch too late for a bootleg so I am grateful for this website. From what Jon said during the song “Politicians” I can see God using Switchfoot for His Glory!

Anyone from Austin reading this planning on going to the Waco show on April 20th? It would be great to meet other Austin Switchfoot fans. You can contact me at:

Hopefully soon I’ll have pictures from that day on my MySpace.

I was at the Stubbs Show last year. That was one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to (but then, I’m a sucker for an outdoor venue, even if it is cold). If it weren’t for that you wouldn’t have gotten to hear Jon’s line in Shadow Proves the Sunshine…

“My heart is frozen underneath (and so are my hands)”

HA, In American Dream Jon did that to one of the verses

“When success is equated with excess, you started fightin’ for the Beamer, the Lexus (in Texas!)”

I CRACKED up.

man, it was so cold in the venue “my hands are frozen underneath”!

“My heart is frozen underneath (and so are my hands)”

Everytime I hear that song, I add “and so are my hands”. I just can’t not do it. Precious, indeed.
