Wow… i went there… actually, you can hear me screaming after gone… lol… it was awesome! everything, how Jon came up with that song so suddenly and how the guys looked very surprised, and then with Shadow proves the sunshine… wow! OMG!! i was in the third of fourth row, but next time ill be in first tow!
so when jon fell (seen in podcast episode 21 by the way in slo-mo), everyone gasped. i was in the middle of the crowd so from my point of view, he just flat-out disappeared. it was pretty crazy.
my friend who was front row said jerome was so stunned he stopped playing.
they challenge the starting line for best show i’ve ever seen.
gotta figure out how to get a V.I.P. pass for the after-show-show next time
i was their at the concert standing by the merchandise.
it was amazing!
my friend i went with is short so we could not go in the middle of the crowd.

they were great. they opened with stars… and something was weird w/ jon’s mic. he wasn’t loud enough. but the sound guys fixed it by the second song.
fyi: if you have never been to a switchfoot concer before, then do yourself a favor and go in not knowing what to expect. in anticipation of the event, i spent a lot of time on youtube watching their concert videos….. and i think my experience would’ve been better if i had gone in without that prior knowledge. just cuz i would’ve been going w/ the flow, not knowing what was gonna come next–which was the case in a few songs. just my perspective.
